A year after the death of the grandfather who raised them, siblings Al and Eve reunite to face the realities of unresolved grief and mend their relationship. Featuring an ensemble cast of characters, this musical lives on the borderline of magical realism and the all too real.

Jeremy Black is an actor, teacher, and Dad with an MFA in dramaturgy from Stony Brook. For several years he taught in New York with Education in Dance, an interdisciplinary arts program begun by a former dancer with Martha Graham. After moving to Long Island, he directed the Northport Opera Company, using movement to enhance the singers’ performances at local venues. He has also taught at the Posey School, Bare Bones Theatre Company, Suffolk Community College, and Ovations. As a performer, Jeremy has worked on stage and in film, appearing in “Puntila and his Hired Man” with the Remains Ensemble of Chicago, “Anna Karenina” at Circle in the Square, “Split Ends” at the Triad, “Death Row Memoirs of an Extraterrestrial” at Stony Brook, and most recently in “A Christmas Carol” with Don’t Tell Amy Productions. Tory Davidson is thrilled to be a part of After the Flood. She holds a B.A. in Theatre and Biology from Whitman College. She is also an alum of the National Theatre Institute. As a Thomas J. Watson Fellow, she spent 12 months exploring theatre in refugee camps across Europe and Asia. She then spent two years working in juvenile prisons in Chicago facilitating musical theatre. As a recent Brooklyn transplant, she’s grateful to be welcomed into the Long Island theatre community.

Stefanie Jade Workman is an interdisciplinary artist from Freeport, NY. She earned a Cum Laude bachelor's degree majoring in Theatre and a minor in Asian Studies from the State University of New York at New Paltz. Her current creative focus is on storytelling and the development of diversity within the performing arts realm. She is grateful for the opportunity to work on a new and exciting piece.

John Brautigam is a composer, lyricist, and musician based in Long Island, New York. He is a graduate of BerkleeNYC, earning an MA in “Writing and Design for Musical Theater” as a member of their inaugural cohort. He currently serves as Composer-in-Residence at EastLine Theatre in Wantagh and Music Director of the Long Island Silent Film Orchestra (LISFO). John is also a recipient of the 2020 NYSCA LI Creative Individual Grant from the Huntington Arts Council.
His most recent writing collaboration was with EastLine Theatre and Director Danny Higgins, creating live underscore and vocal arrangements for David Bullen’s adaptation of Sophocles’ Antigone. Other recent works include underscore for Two Gentlemen of Verona, Romeo & Juliet, Sam Shepard’s Buried Child, and music/lyrics for original theater projects: MIDAS, Diary of a Pirate, The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, and Prospero (LIVE); a musical adaptation of Shakespeare’s The Tempest.

Elena Faverio is an artist, abolitionist, and creator of artistic shenanigans on Youtube. They recently produced a documentary entitled 118 about advocacy on Long Island. Previous musical works include Blaze! (about the friendly neighborhood pyromaniac in love with the agoraphobic girl next door), i don't get out much (about loneliness & the difference between inside and outside, and The Window Washers: Part I (about dreams, the threat of falling, and the view from above).
